Pedro Paixão (Angola, 1971) holds a Masters in Fine Arts by The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a PhD in Philosophy by Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto.  His exhibition trajectory began in 1996 with the show Sete Artistas ao Décimo Mês (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon). His solo shows include: Pedro A.H. Paixão 1998-2018, CIAJG, Guimarães, Portugal (opening in 2018), A cor de um eclipse (with Catarina Dias), Ar Sólido, Marvila (2016), Fogo Posto, Carmona e Costa Foundation, Lisbon (2016), Sic Transit Gloria Mundi, Museu do Dinheiro – Banco de Portugal, Lisbon (2016), A Festa (with Rui Moreira), Carmona e Costa Foundation, Lisbon, (2006), Desenho no Desenho de Brueghel, Carlos Carvalho Arte Contemporânea, Lisbon (2007), and Bouzean (with Rui Moreira & Sara Marrecas), Faro Capital da Cultura, Fábrica da Cerveja, Faro, (2915).
